Tight buffer or semi tight buffer

Cables intended mainly for indoor use, however all cables have a weather proof and UV stabilised outer sheet, and can as such be used outdoor as well.

Cables with 900 micron tight buffer:

D02     2 - 24 fibres: Aramid yarns and FireRes® sheath. IEC 60332-3C fire rating.  DQ

D06     24 - 96 fibres: 6 fibre units w. aramid yarns, stranded around a central core, w. FireRes® sheath.  IEC 60332-3C fire rating. DQ

D12     2 - 24 fibres: Glass yarns and FireBur® sheath. IEC 60332-1 fire rating. DQ

D03     2 - 24 fibres: B reak-out cable w ø2.0 mm units, stranded around a central core, w. FireRes® sheath. IEC 60332-3C fire rating. DQ

Cables with 900 micron semi tight fibre (gel filled type).

Cables D06 and D03 are available with semi tight buffer as an option, together with the following special designs.

Central tube

Cables intended mainly for indoor use, however all cables have a weather proof and UV stabilised outer sheet, and can as such be used outdoor as well.

E05    2 - 24 fibre UNI tube cable, aramid yarns, FireRes ® sheath. IEC 60332-3C fire rating (up to 12 fibres). DQ

E17    2 - 24 fibres GARPE 5 FR plus,  glass elements, FireRes® sheath, IEC 60332-3C fire rating. 

E15    2 - 24 fibre GARPE ® 4 FR plus, glass elements, FireRes ® sheath, IEC 60332-3C and UL 1666 fire rating.

Stranded loose tube

Cables intended mainly for indoor use, however all cables have a weather proof and UV stabilised outer sheet, and can as such be used outdoors as well. The cables are semi dry longitudinal water blocked using swell able materials. The cables features a FireRes ®   sheath and fulfill IEC 60332-3C.

N06    6 - 264 fibre stranded loose tube cable, FireRes ®   sheath, IEC 60332-3C fire rating DQ

N03    6 - 96 fibre stranded loose tube cable, heavy layer of glass yarns, FireRes ®   sheath, IEC 60332-3C fire rating DQ

I09      6 - 96 fibre stranded loose tube cable, inner FireBur ®   sheath, steel tape armouring,  outer FireRes ®   sheath, IEC 60332-3C fire rating.
